RENEWAL OF MIGRATION
DISCUSSED BY MR B. S. B. STEVENS PROFITABLE EMPLOYMENT ISSUE (United Presa Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, 2nd October. The Premier of New South Wales, Mr B. S. B. Stevens, who returned by the Aorangi from a trip abroad, discussed the prospects of a renewal of migration. He said that before that happened, we must have assurance of co-operation from Britain and the Commonwealth Government that the monetary, trade and investment policy would be such as to provide a continuous increase in the volume of profitable employment available for both men and money in Australia.
