WHISKY CASK BREAKS ON DECK
CONTENTS FLOW FREELY (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. There was an unrehearsed incident this morning during the unloading of a consignment of 106 casks of whisky from the Kairanga for transfer to the Tamsron m the course of a round-the-world voyage to accelerate maturity. A cask fell out of the sling and broke on the deck, its contents flowing freely. The men produced cups and mugs and one seized a bucket but in response to the overseer’s stentorian voice work was promptly resumed and soon only the odour remained.
