SLIGHT INJURY TO MALA

Mala, when returning to the stable from training this morning, was struck a glancing blow by a tramcar and received two superficial cuts on the hind legs. Mala was immediately examined by a veterinary surgeon. It has been decided that it will start in the Derby, though naturally its chances have not been improved by the shock.

Sporting Blood will run in the Spring Stakes.
