CHARGE OF ASSAULT

MAN ADMITTED TO TWO YEARS’ PROBATION

A charge against Bartlet B. Ingram, aged 26 years, of unlawfully assaulting a girl and seizing her and attempting to kiss her, was heard in the Children’s Court this morning before Mr T. E. Maunsell, S.M. After hearing the evidence the Magistrate convicted the accused and admitted him to probation for two years, with the following special conditions: that he is not to accost, molest, or insult any female; and he is to take out a prohibition order.
