PIPERS AT BALMORAL
THE KING’S FAVOURITE MARCHES (United Press Association —By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 24th September. King Edward is spending much of his time at Balmoral with his nine pipers. He does not permit them to play in the mornings for fear they will awaken the guests, but likes them to pipe in the dinner, them repeatedly to play favourite marches. He is now initiating them to the mysteries of syncopation. One was heard struggling with the “St. Louis Blues.”
