RECLAMATION WORK NEAR WARREN’S ESTATE

MEETING TO BE HELD THIS EVENING

A meeting to discuss a proposal to reclaim a portion of the mudflat incorporating Warren’s Estate for the purpose of a Centennial Park, with a view to providing for grounds for all forms of sport, has been called by the Mayor (Mr G. L. Page) for this evening. The meeting, which will be held in the Mayor’s room or in the Council Chamber will be 'addressed by Mr J. Wyllic who has interviewed the Minister of Public Works'and has definite information to place before the meeting.
