CELEBRATIOI'I IN MELBOURNE REUNION DINNER HELD (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, 20th September. New Zealanders living in Melbourne celebrated Dominion Day by a reunion dinner, 150 attending. Responding to the toast “Aotearoa,” New Zealand’s trade tourist commissioner, Mr W. Taylor, said that New Zealand and Australia were now progressing in their understanding of each other with an intensity not paralleled in ten years. Pacific countries were tending to develop travel, trade and economy. In promoting that the two countries were working closely together. Other speakers were Mr A. S. M. Poison, Lieut.-Colonel Hellier Evans, Mr C. Daly, Mr Colin Smith and Mrs C. Potter.
