WORKERS WARNED

STAY-IN STRIKE IN FRANCE MAY COMPROMISE NATIONAL DEFENCE COMMENT BY PARTY LEADERS (United Frees Association— By Electric Telegrap.h—Copy right,' (Received 21st September, noon) PARIS, 20th September. M. Edouard Daladier, of Defence, president of the Radical Socialist. and M. Caesar Campinchi, head of the party's parliamentary group, representing the numerically strongest oart of the Popular Front, significantly warned workers against “stayin” strikes. M. Daladier said Radical Socialists would not condone excesses by abused men who refuse to accept their leaders’ advice and blindly follow agent-provocateurs. It is necessary to stop the continually recurring occupation of factories, which may gravely compromise national defence. M. Campinchi said if incidents recurred the Government risked the loss of authority and workers should remember that sometimes very little was needed to endanger democracy.
