The . New Zealand Dairy Board, by arrangement with the Primary Products Marketing Department, report as follows for the week ending lltli September (last week’s prices being in parentheses): Butter.—New Zealand salted, 105 s to 106 s (equals approximately 12.45 d f.0.b.) 1109 s to 110 s); unsalted 104 s to 106 s (109 s to 110 s). Deliveries New Zealand, 1835 tons. In store New Zealand, 5533 tons (includes 1679 tons “Port Bowen” and “Tuscan Star.”) Australian

salted 105 s to 106 s (100 s to 109 s); unsalted 103 s to 105 s (109 s to 110 s). Market irregular. Retail prices unchanged. New Zealand Is 2d, Danish Is 3d. Imperial Economic Committee’s estimated stocks of all butters, 1,035,729 boxes (last year 870,948 boxes. Butter market continues weak, closing Is to 2s below exchange price. Australian offering 100 s c.i.f. shipment September, but no buyers. Dutch and Baltic States butters could _ be bought for America on basis 87s c.i.f., but no offers.

New Zealand baconer pigs.—Quiet, but firm owing to short spot stocks. skins Wellington brokers held their fortnightly sale of sheepskins, hides, tallow, and sundries on Friday, the usual bench of buyers being in attendance. All excellent offering of sheepskins was submitted, and all grades met keen competition. Values for dry skins showed a decline of /d to /d per lb. Insufficient salted skins were offered to make a reliable quotation. . Cow hides again sold well, appreciating by gd in all weights. Medium ox advanced /d, while light and heavies were .firm. All weights of yearlings sold well, mediums advancing up to Jd. Calfskins, which of late have met a weak market, -.firmed by 3d. Tallow was very firm.
