CROQUET CLUB At the annual meeting of the Talmnanui Croquet Club all members were present. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £6, which was considered highly satisfactory, as a great amount had been spent during the season to improve the lawn. New members were elected as follows:—Mesdames Lusty, Brett, Jamieson, Stevens, and Robinson. The following officers were elected : President, Mrs Logan {re-elected) ; vicepresidents, Mrs Lock and Messrs Logan, Howard, Luck, Inkster, Sanders. Brett, Burns, and Lusty ; secretary and treasurer, Mrs Sanders (re-elected) ; club captain, Sirs Inkster (re-elected); delegates to tlie Association, Mesdames Inkster and Howard; match committee, the president, captain, and secretary; A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Messrs Logan, Howard, Luck. Inkster, Burns, and Sanders for remodelling the lawn, which should now be among the best in the district. i
