THE WEATHER

The weather was beautifully fine in Nelson yesterday with 10 hours 40 minutes of sunshine and the barometer to-day had risen considerably to 29.94. The minimum temperature during the night was 36.5 degrees in Nelson and 36 degrees at the Government Research Orchard. This morning was at first gloriously clear and sunny, with a light breeze, but later clouded over, and was gloomy over the hills.
