EIGHT WORLD RECORDS
MOTOR RACING AT BONNEVILLE (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) BONNEVILLE (U.S.A.), 12th Sept. Cobb established eight world motor car records to-day on completion of a 24-hour run over the Serset speedway, where he averaged 1.50.1629 m'.p.h. Seven, other records were set during the run. Near the end, Cobb almost met with disaster. The heavy Napier-Railton skidded on two wheels and for a second a crash appeared to be inevitable, but he managed to right the machine and continued.
