ENGLAND DEFEATS IPSWICH (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) •BRISBANE, Ist July. With spare forwards playing as backs the English Rugby League team easily beat Ipswich by 23 points to 3. There was an attendance of 3000 and the gate amounted to £2OO. The Englishmen suffered no serious injuries. Brogden and Watkins were in brilliant form. Tries were scored for England by Brogden, Arkright, Edwards, Watkins and Troup. Hodgson kicked four goals. O’Neill scored a try for Ipswich.
