PRINCIPLE APPROVED LEGISLATION BEING PREPARED (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. A principle of a wool levy to provide funds for research and for propaganda to combat competition of other textiles and sythetic fibres was unanimously approved at the annual meeting of the Royal Agricultural Society. During the discussion the Director-General of Agriculture, Mr A. H. Cockayne, announced that he was* at the moment endeavouring to finish the preparation of legislation dealing with a levy on wool.
