Dr. Earle Page, Australian Minister for Commerce, is not leaving by the Strathaird on 28th June and has booked provisionally for the Comorin on the 10th July. He returns from Birmingham to-night and on 23rd June attends the British Government’s first migration conference. Following his discussions with the Overseas Settlement Board, Mr R. G. Menzies, Australian Attorney-General is attending also. Both will attend the air-mail conference, which is likely to mark a turning point in negotiations.
