RE-FORTIFICATION OF THE DARDANELLES DIFFICULTIES OVER VISITS TO GRAVES (United Press Association r By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MONTREUX, 20th June. Difficulties are likely to arise at the Dardanelles Conference in connection with the visit to British and Australian war graves in view of the natural desire of Turkish military authorities to ensure secrecy of fortifications. Mr Stanley Bruce is closely watching the issue. MOST DELICATE QUESTION (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 20th June. “The Times” special Montreux correspondent says Turkey states that the question is likely to be one of the most delicate the conference will have to decide. The Turkish Government is in entire sympathy with the British desire to preserve the cemeteries, but foreign visitors and caretakers could scarcely be welcome to the militaij authorities.
