THE JOSEPH CONRAD

WIRELESS MESSAGE FROM ONE OF CREW (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, 20th June. A wireless message was received today by Mr Henley, whose son. joined the Joseph Conrad at Auckland in February, that the vessel arrived a: Papeete on Thursday afternoon. All aboard were well. He said that the Joseph Conrad will later continue her voyage to England via Cape Horn and New York. NO FURTHER NEWS MELBOURNE, 21st June. No further news has been received in regard to the Joseph Conrad’s arrival at Papeete. Mr Villiers’ mother and brother, who reside at Kensington Suburb, were overjoyed with the good news of the Joseph Conrad’s safety.
