LATEST THING IN TRAIN COMFORT AUSTRALIAN RAILWAYS PRAISED (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. A "Sunshine Express” between Brisbane and Sydney is the latest thing in train comfort, according to Mr H. W. Brodie, overseas passenger manager of the Canadian Pacific Railways, who is returning to Canada by the Aorangi. He said that the modern expresses which have been placed on the lines between Melbourne and Sydney, also the most up-to-date air-conditioned carriages providing an even temperature, and the new terminus for electric suburban train traffic at Wynyard, Sydney, compared favourably with anything he had seen, while at Flinders Street Station, Melbourne, 2100 trains were handled daily. Heavy bookings to England are assured from Australia and the Dominion next year, principally on account of the Coronation.
