BOESCII DEFEATS BLOMFIKLD (By Telegraph—Press Association) HASTINGS, This. Day. Boesch defeated Blomfielcl in a spectacular wrestling contest by two falls to one. WOODS STRIKES REFEREE ON BOUT BEING AWARDED TO ZAHARIAS ASHBURTON, This Day. Resenting, the decision against him, Joe Kopach Woods struck, amid boos, at the referee, Gordon Mowat, when a wrestling bout last evening was awardede to Chris Zaharias. Woods expostulated with the referee and displayed an inclination to continue the contest.
Zaharias won on points with a good exhibition, gaining a body press in the fifth round, while Woods got a submission fall with a surfboard in the seventh.
