BOY’S EYE PIERCED

BROTHERS ACCIDENTAL SHOT (By Telegraph—Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, 14th June. Struck in'the eye with an arrow on Saturday a boy, aged six, was admitted to the New Plymouth Hospital with a severe injury. An operation was performed immediately, but whether the boy will lose the sight of the eye will not be known for a few days. The boy was George Richmond, son of Mr and Mrs B. Richmond, Wharehuia, near Stratford. The boy and his young brother were playing with bows and arrows when the other boy accidentally released an arrow which entered George’s eye. He was rushed to New Plymouth for specialist treatment.
