Stanley Baldwin, Prime Minister, in the House of Commons, announced that an Imperial Conference would be held in London in May, 1937, immediately after the Coronation. COLONIAL OFFICE CONFERENCE INQUIRIES BEING MADE (British Official Wireless) (Received 16th June, 11.20 a.m.) RUGBY, 15th June. The Hon. Stanley Baldwin (Prime Minister) said in the House of Commons that the Colonial Secretary would communicate with the colonial governments regarding the holding of another Colonial Office Conference on the lines of those in 1927 and 1930, but at present he doubted if it would be practicable to hold it next summer.
