LOYAL HOWARD LODGE
At the Loyal Howard Lodge, M.U.1.0.0. F., fortnight meeting, Bro. V. Stade presided, assisted by his officers, I.P.N.G. Bro. R. Wells, V.G. Sis. M. Wells, E.S. Bro. Mcßae, Warden Bro. R. Fell, Guardian Bro. A. Simpson. There was a large attendance and much business was dealt with, including the election of officers, the following being elected for the next term: Bro. G. L. Housiaux, P.G. to N.G.; Bro. V. Stade, P.G. to 1.P.N.G.; Bro. Mcßae, to V.G.; and Bros C. Parsons, P.G. to E.S. One new member was initiated into the order, Bros. W. Anderson and R. Fell acting as conductors. The lodge then adjourned for the purpose of a degree meeting. The Lecture Master, Bro. G. L. Housiaux, gave Bro. Mcßae the Gold degree and lecture.
When lodge resumed the N.G. Bro. Stade gave a very hearty welcome to the visitors present. An invitation was extended to them, also to the Nelson Lodge and the district officers to attend the next meeting, which will be the half-yearly summoned meeting. Lodge closed in due form about 9.30 p.m., after which a welcome supper was served by the social committee.
