MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
The Defence Miniature Rifle Club held its weekly shoot on Thursday evening, this being the second shoot for the June trophy. Scores registered were: K. Inwood 70. IT. Day 69, K. Day 69, W. Kenning 69, F. Sharland 69, T. Henry 68-1—69, W. Mitchener 68-1—69, P. Coote 68-1—69, R. Sherwood 66-3—69. T. Inwood 66-3—69, J. Baird 64-5—69, F. Adams 64-5—69, K. Pogmore 58-11—69, A. Orchard 68, D. Day 66-1—67, M. McLaren 63-3—66, A. Kenning 60-4—64, P. McLaren 60-2—62, K. Douglas 49-6—55, G. Clark 43-12—55. * It was decided to start the championship and handicap aggregate series next Thursday evening.
