PARTY EXPLORING THE NORTH COL . “OUR FINAL EFFORT” (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 11th June, 12.55 p.m.) LONDON. 10th June. A copyright message from Mr Hugh Rutiledge says: “The whole party, except Morris and Noel Humphreys, are now encamped near the head of the main Rongbuk glacier under the huge north face of Mt. Everest. The monsoon regained strength here, but today a party of seven is exploring the west side of the north col according to plan as announced in the last message, as our final effort.”
