CARTERTON RACING CLUB CUP TO PROSTRATION WEST TOR’S BUNNY MEMORIAL CARTERTON, 23rd May. The weather was fine but cloudy and bleak for the Carterton Racing Club’s Meeting. The attendance was good and the track was in excellent order. Results: — Maiden Plate, of £6O; six furlongs. —1 Camili Horn, 8.12 (P. Burgess), 1; 2 Le Toquet, 8.5, 2; 3 Sir Ronald, 8.12, 3. All started. Won by a head. Time, 1.18. Carrington Highweight Plandicap, of £80; one mile and 80 yards.—s Contract, 9.3 (S. Anderson), 1; 4 Spender, 9.12, 2; 2 Stitchbird, 9.8, 3. Scratched: La Parleuse. Won by a bare length. Time, 1.50. Wairarapa County Cup. of £120; one mile and a quarter.—l Prostration, 8.5 (S. Wilson), 1; 4 Arctic King, 8.5, 2: 3 Might, 8.9, 3.
