SOUTH AFRICA WINS KING’S TROPHY NEW ZEALAND PLACE® THIRD (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received Ist April, 12J» p.m.) LONDON, 31st March, The National Rifle Association an nounces that South Africa won the King’s trophy for the highest musketry efficiency in the Imperial Shield’s competition with an average for 3012 boys of 82.201 points out of a possible 100. Great Britain was second with 77.091; and New Zealand, third with 76.974. Canada, Australia and India did not qualify. Over 26,000 hoys competed.
