MAYOR OF DUNEDIN’S DECISION (United Press Association) DUNEDIN, 30t.h March. According to the mayor, Rev. F. T. Cox, speaking at the City Council to-night, the position with regard to pictures theatres opening on the evening of Anzae Day has been definitely settled. During the discussion of an application by a dance ball proprietor for a permit to open on 25th April, Mr Cox said that as no pictures would be open anywhere in New Zealand on that night there was no need to discuss the matter.
