GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION PROPOSED “GLARING ANOMALIES” TO BE DEALT WITH (By Telegraph—Pi ess Association) WELLINGTON, 30th March, An assurance was given to-day by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, that the Government’s proposed amendment of the pensions laws would deal satisfactorily with many cases of hardship caused by “glaring anomalies in the present legislation.” Cabinet had treated pensions legislation as being of first importance with other legislative amendments.
