WIN FOR HEROS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, 30th March. At the Moonee Valley Eight Hours Day- races the following was the result of the Quality Handicap; seven furlongs : Heros, 9.0 (Webster), 1; Closing Time, 8.9 (Voitre), 2; Charles Fox, 8.2 (Breasley), 3. Twelve started. Won by a. head; a head. Time, 1.25 a course record. Greenhorn was unplaced in the Anniversary Welter Handicap,, which was won by Nissa. Shining Gold- and N.ewliaven were unplaced in the Yannathan Trial Handicap, Gay Lot was .unplaced in the Calliope Handicap, ancl Membo and Hit the Deck unplaced in the Rothwell Steeplechase.
