CYCLIST KILLED
COLLISION WITH CAR (By Telegraph—Press Association) DARGAVILLE, 27th . March.. A collision occurred at 12.45 this morning between a cycle ridden by Fred Clarke, aged 23, and a taxi car driven by H. Seafle oil the Turiwiri road. Tlie car was coming to Dargaville and the cycle was going in the opposite direction.' Clarke, was thrown heavily from his 'machine;’and sustained .severe injuries. After he had received medical attention, he was taken to Tekopuru hospital in an unconscious condition and (lied at 5.45. Deceased Was a native of Ireland and had been employed, by T. H. Spence of Turiwiri for tlie past six months. Clarke has two brothers residing at Ruawai. one at Tekopuru aild another at'. Waihi.
