DARGAVILLE, 27th March. _ A collision occurred at 12.45 this morning between a cycle ridden bx Fred Clarke, aged 2.'!. and a taxi car driven by IT. Searlc on 1 lie Turnviri ’l’he car was coming to Dargaville and tlie cycle was going in the opposite direction. Clarke was thrown heavily from his machine and sustained .severe injuries. After lie had received medical 'attention he was taken to Tekopuru hospital in an unconscious condition and died at 5.45. Deceased was a native of Ireland and lmd been employed hv T. H. Spence of Turiwiri for the past six months. Clarke has two brothers residing at Kuawai, one at Tekopuru and another at Wuilii.
