REASONABLE
the millionaire club SUBSCRIPTIONS (By Air Mail—From Our Own Correspondent) LONDON, 27th February. London club subscriptions vary considerably. Tlie Bath Club, which King Edward the Eighth used when Prince of Wales, has "a ten-guinea, subscription plus a thirty-guinea entrance fee. Boodle’s makes it- fifteen guineas each way. Brook’s is thirty and Fifteen. Head of the list, for expensiveness, is the exclusive City of London, which demands a hundred guinea entrance fee and then fifteen guineas subscription. I believe the Savage subscription is six guineas, but that, of course, is a more Bohemian haunt, where the society is Highly fascinating and artistic, but there are few nabobs knocking about. In view of these facts, it is inteiesting to find that the Millionaire Club, with an address at W.I. asks no more than a. five-guinea entrance fee and an annual sub of 10s 6cl. In the case of those joining before the opening date, the entrance fee is waived. This seems a reasonable proposition for the privilege of communicating with your tailor or banker on Millionaire Club notepaper.
