WOMEN’S REST ROOM AND PLUNKET SOCIETY
DONATIONS TOWARDS NEW BUILDING Appended is the full list of donations received to date for the Women’s Rest Room and Plunket Society. The City Council has supplied the land, the Plunket Society its half of the building from its own funds, and it is appealing to the public to provide the half required (£500) for the women’s rest room. Tlie committee know that many others intend assisting, but it is highly desirable that the amounts or promises be immediately forthcoming to allow for the acceptance of tenders and the commencement of building operations.
