AIR PAGEANT

SOUTH ISLAND DIVISION AT DUNEDIN .. (By Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN, 13tli March. The official South Island air pageant commenced at North Taieri aerodrome to-day in glorious weather. Tliirtytwo planes, representative of 14 clubs in every part of the Dominion, and seven New Zealand Air Force machines arrived during the day, and now make an imposing array along two sides of the aerodrome. Competitions for the “Herald,” Bledisloe and Gloucester trophic were held during tlie afternoon, but the results will not be available until tomorrow. The pageant will be officially opened to-morrow, when a lengthy programme,' including many spectacular events, will be presented.
