RUGBY, 12th March

At an influential meeting at the Mansion House to-day, convened by the Lord Mayor of London at the request of the Prime Minister, it was decided that the memorial to King George V. should take the form of a statue of Ilis late Majesty in London in some noble setting, and a philanthropic scheme of a specific character, which would benefittile whole country, to be associated with His Majesty’s name.
