The second fell soon afterwards with the score at 260. Scores: Gallichan, not out 31 Norris, c Wysocki,, b Marshall 8 Lumsden, c Lowry, b Hodder 1 Hearsey, not out 4 Total for eights wickets 264 Hearsey joined Gallichan and 300 runs appeared soon after, both being steady and confident. Then Hearsey was caught by Whittle off Williams at 315. Berquist failed to last long and the side was all out- for 331.
