FIRST FASCIST REGIME IN WESTERN HEMISPHERE illnito'i Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Co py right i BUENOS AIRES, 11th March. News of the creation of the first Fascist regime in the Western Hemisphere comes with the announcement from Paraguay that the provisional Government has decreed a totalitarian State, declared the revolutionary party and the State inseparable, suspended all political activities for ope year and put all industries, under the Minister for the Interior. The decree stresses the analogy to certain European countries. “The advent of a liberating revolution has created changes of great magnitude which will require historical solution and which will show the revolution involved in the same social transformation ns those of contemporary European totalitarian States, in the sense that the liberating revolution and the State are now the one and identical thing,” the decree states.
Exactly what is happening in Paraguay, however, is still unknown, due to the .strict censorship.
