FRUIT MARKETING ENQUIRY

(To the Editor) Sir,—A meeting of petitioners was held at Mapua on Monday night for the purpose of discussing the report issued by the Executive Commission of Agriculture.*’ It was agreed that the report contained many inaccuracies, and the conclusions were in many instances in direct opposition to the evidence. It was also agreed that a reply to the report be prepared and published. Petitioners who were unable to attend the meeting are assured that the principle they signed for is not being lost sight of. —I am etc. J. L. BROWN. Redwoods’ Valley, 11th March.
