Forward prices for wheat: May. 99 cents; July, 89; September, 88 PRICE OF IIN NEW YORK. 9th March Price of tin. spot, 48.30 cents per lb NEW ZEALAND LAMB In regard to prices for New Zealand lamb delivered to Smithfield Market, the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board supplied a table, giving equivalent New Zealand parities after deducting all costs, including selling commission, interest, and one month’s storage in London. The costing is calculated from the point of view of a farmer shipping on his own account. It is based on to-day’s estimated skin values and includes exchange at current rates. The basis of calculation is a prime woolly lamb weighing, say, 341 b delivered at freezing works:—lf price delivered to Smithfield market is 8d per lb, New Zealand “overall” parity delivered at works is (approximately) 9d per lh; 7-|d is equivalent to 8.70 d per lb; 7£d 8.40 d per lb ; 7jd, B.lod per lb; 7d, 7.80 d per lb. _ In tlie above estimate the cost of killing, freezing and placing on board steamer is based on a charge of .52d per lb.
