LANDING A SHARK

SYDNEY, 7th February.
Using a rod and reel and a cord line, of which the breaking strain was 7211> Mr 'Erie Roberts landed at the Maroubra suburban beach, after a five-hour battle, a tiger shark 15ft Oin long and Oft in girth. The shark,' which was not officially weighed, was estimated at between 1200 and 1300 pounds. It is believed to be the largest caught anywhere on rocl and reel.
