THE. PENSIONS LAWS STATEMENT BY 110 N. W. E. PARRY (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Ist February. “It is the Government’s -plan to review the pensions laws during the coming session of Parliament, said the .Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. W. E. Parry), who arrived from Wellington to-day. “The now Bill which is engaging my close attention and will form the foundation of the national system of superaunation is almost ready to send to Cabinet.’’ The Minister expressed admiration of the work of the staff of the Commissioner of Pensions (Mr R. Boyes) who, lie said, was investigating a large number of cases on which it had been called upon to report. The Minister said be regretted that many eases would have to stand over and await the results of the Government’s review of the law now operating. Ho mentioned that applications relating to war pensions had to be sent on to the Minister of Defence.

Mr Parry leaves for Rotorua on Thursday to investigate Departmental affairs.
