It is unlikely that any legislation will lie brought forward during the coming session of Parliament in connection with the: health insurance scheme, according to a statement by the Minister of Health (the Hon. P. Fraser) to-day. Mr Eraser said that the scheme was receiving his close attention. A certain amount of preparation in a general way had been carried out by the late O'ovtrnmmt, and it war. necessary to start work where that had been leit i,IT. Nothing definite in the way of drafting the details of the scheme would he done without consulting doctors, dentists, chemists, nurses, hospital boards, and friendly societies.
