Results are: - Munioll Handicap; of six furlongs. — Short Wave, 7.12 (Lightfoot)', 1; Dame Moab, 7.11 (McElhinney), 2; Heritor, 7.2 (Curby), J. Twelve started. Threequarters of a length; two lengths. Time, 1.12}. Adrian Knox Stakes, one mile. — C'ercza, 8.5 (Pratt), 1; Fair Diana, 8.5 (Cook), 2; Salamander, 8.5 (Munro), 3. Twelve started. Won comfortably by two and a half lengths; length and a quarter. Time, 1.38. Anniversary Handicap, cine mile and a half. —Mr Kerry, S.li (Pratt), J; Viceroy, 0.9 (Duncan), 2; Curator, 7.0 (Knox), 3. Eleven started. Vice Royal was scratched. Curator tried to win all tlie way, but Mr Kerry came with a splendid run in the straight and, stalling oil' a determined challenge by Viceroy, Mr Kerry snatched victory in tiro last stride by half a head, with Curator two length’s away third. Limbolvni, who got awav badly finished finely in fourth place.' Loud Applause, who ran fairly, finished seventh. Cherry King and Limvris were last. Time, 2.32}.

The chief event resulted— Australia Day Handicap—Faith in Australia, 915 (Sharp) 1; Lady Vim, 9.0 (lloiiary), 2; Bachelor’s Aid, 7.13 (Conquest) 3. Seven started. Won by two lengths. Time, 2.19 g. Faith in Australia is now regarded as one of Queensland’s star distance performers. He has been prominent in the finish in important handicaps run at Ascot in recent weeks.
