CONCLUSION OF INQUEST COMMENT BY CORONER [By Telegraph-Press Association] TIXTARU, 31st January. The adjourned inquest into the cleat j of Helen Lilian McKay, single, aged 21 who sustained fatal' injuries in a motor car smash in the early hours of sth January, was concluded this ailei ’ H. Osborne, garage proprietor, gave evidence that the brakes of the wrecked car were in good condition and that the steering gear was i intact. Hunter was examined at length, but. stated that he could not remember all the happenings that night. 'The Coroner returned a verdict that Miss McKay’s death was caused by laceration of the brain, resulting from a fracture at the base of the skull.
