' He .carried on business for 20 years in Wellington. ' ...... MR GEO. S. HARDY , . ASHBURTON, This Day. The death lias occurred of Mr George. Searight Hardy, son of the late Hon. C. A. C. Hardy, aged. 02 . years. As captain, he commanded the second reinforcements of the Canterbury Mounted Rifles to Egypt. He was invalided home in JOIO and then assumed charge of the Marlborough recruiting,district. He was president of the Rakaia R.S.A., n member of many bodies in the Rakaia district and a member; of the Ashburton Hospital Board. The deceased is survived by a widow..
