RUGBY, 16th December. _ The steady recovery in Britain’s foreign trade is further illustrated in the trade returns for November issued during the weekend. These show that for the 1 first eleven months of this year exports totalled £440,858,556 — £31,302,239 move than in 1934 and £61,446,652 more than in 1932, and the highest figure since 1930. Imports totalled £683,571,272—£14,056,087 more than in 1934 and £70,719,807 more than in 1933, and the highest figure since 1931. The figures for November were imports £71,455,493 and exports, including re-exports, £43,971,946, as compared with imports £64,656,896 and exports £49,133,554 in November, 1934.
