NOMINATIONS FOR OLYMPIC GAMES (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, 12th November. The Council of the New Zealand Boxing Association decided to nominate T. Arbuthnot, welterweight (Wellington), C. Gordon, featherweight (Patea), and N. Fisher, lightweight (Christchurch) to the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games Association as worthy to represent New Zealand at the Olympic Games at Berlin next year. It was decided to lift the disqualification recently imposed upon Billy Aitken by the Wellington Boxing Association as from 19th November.
