RODING RIVER WATER SUPPLY
PROPOSALS BEFORE WAIMEA COUNTY. COMMITTEE SET UP A statement of the proposed Roding River water supply scheme was submitted to the Waimea County Council yesterday by the City Council It was resolved that a committee consisting of the chairman (Councillor J. Corder), and Councillor G. Manson, L.. Palmer and the Engineer (Mr W. Bullivant) be set up to consider the proposals. Comment was made that it would be a great pity if the Council should lose the chance of supplying Stoke with water
