DIRECTORS’ REPORT DIVIDEND OF 5 PER CENT. The following is the report of the directors to be presented to the annual meeting of the Nelson Freezing Company to be licit! next Tuesday:— Your directors have pleasure in submitting to you their 27th annual report and statement of accounts for the year ended 30th September, 1935. The quantity of stock killed and. fruit handled during the year was as follows—
After writing off. £ISOO for depreciation, the profit remaining, including the balance brought forward from last year, is £0170./17s lid, which your directors recommend should be disposed of as follows —
The plant lias been enlarged during the season by tlie installation of a Diesel engine and compressei - , and this will enable the company to freeze more quickly ancl give better service to clients generally. • ■ . . The retiring directors, Messrs George Manson and Alex. Drummond, who retire by effluxion of time, are eligible and again offer themselves for reelection. There being ho further nominations they are declared duly elected.
