Forward wheat prices: September, 87f cents a bushel; December, 89|; May, 91a, New York, cash, 115 f cents. The markets will be closed next Mouday. FROZEN MEAT MARKET In the frozen lamb market at Home lightweights remain firm, according to the weekly cable received by the New Zealand Moat Producers’ Board, but heavyweights are slightly easier. Consumption continues to be satisfactory. The wether mutton market is firm, with prices unchanged. There has been more inquiry for ewe mutton and prices have hardened. There is better demand for beef with a slight advance in prices owing to better prices for chilled beef. Prices for New Zealand porker pigs have advanced owing to better demand. Quotations for baconers are nominal as there is none available.
